To strengthen our production and technical capabilities, we are looking for someone:

After an initial training period, the employee will play a cross-functional role spanning the technical department, production, and quality control, with the goal of contributing to product industrialization, the optimization of production processes, and the continuous improvement of company efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the engineering department, production, quality control, and suppliers, as well as to interact with Italian and international customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on their experience and skills, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with the engineering department in developing design solutions.
• Provide support, as needed, for the design and modification of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Define and improve production cycles and methods, tooling, and operational sequences.
• Support the production department in resolving technical and organizational issues.
• Analyze and optimize production processes, identifying critical issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze processing times, methods, and procedures with the goal of increasing efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate on the standardization of processes and the drafting and updating of technical production documentation.
• Support the introduction of new products and new manufacturing processes into production.
• Liaise with external suppliers on technical matters related to manufacturing and processes.
• Collaborate with the quality department in analyzing nonconformities and identifying the corresponding corrective actions.
• Contribute to projects focused on continuous improvement, waste reduction, and the optimization of production costs.

The Production Context

The candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various processes and technologies, including:

• precision machining using CNC machinery;
• assembly of vacuum components and helium leak testing;
• Manufacturing of chambers and components for high vacuum and UHV applications, and assembly of PVD systems
• metalworking and welding of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, and special alloys;

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical training.
• Alternatively, a diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or a similar technical degree.
• Excellent ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of the main mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with dimensional measurement and inspection tools.
• Excellent knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems (particularly SolidWorks).

Knowledge of the following will be considered a plus:

• knowledge of vacuum technologies and PVD/PECVD systems;
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies;
• ERP/MRP systems and production cycle management.
• Experience in manufacturing sectors

Overview

Contract: To be determined based on the candidate's experience and skills.

National Collective Bargaining Agreement: Metalworking Industry.

Job classification and level: These will be evaluated based on the professional profile.

Work location: Parma – SPIP District.
